Hi! My name is Sarah Plankis, and I bring 19 years of passion and experience in early childhood education to my role. My love for working with young children was sparked while working at a Reggio Emilia school in California, and it has guided me ever since. Having worked my way up from teacher to Assistant Director, I believe children learn best through play and hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and wonder. Outside of work, I'm a mom to an energetic 6-year-old boy and a creative 4-year-old girl. When I'm not at school, you can find me camping, tending to my garden, baking sourdough bread, or out exploring the world with my kids, whether that's biking, hitting the park, or just enjoying the great outdoors!
