Erin is native to Wyoming, but has lived in Fort Collins since 2016 and is proud to call it her new home. She has her Associate’s in Early Childhood Education, and is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies, with an ECE concentration. She has spent the last four years working with young children, and believes that play is the most organic way for children to discover the world we live in and to find their place in it. Erin is committed to a progressive teaching philosophy that places children at the center of her practice, where relationships with children is key to having an open mind for discovering. She is passionate about teaching the “whole child” focusing on social and emotional health, and building empathy and respect for ourselves, others, and our environment. Erin enjoys all aspects of the classroom, but especially singing, dancing, laughing, and cuddles. In her spare time, she likes to play with her cat Tulip, explore Fort Collins, and discover children’s books and songs! She is excited to join the Arts and Imagination community and work together with families to learn, grow, and thrive.
