Hello Arts and Imagination families! My name is Ms. Becki. I absolutely love being teacher and am honored to have the opportunity to support your family!  I strive to provide a warm and nurturing environment that celebrates and cultivates your child's unique abilities along with their sense of self and love for others.

I have over ten years of experience working with children and families in a wide variety of educational settings from the home environment to the school district and many places in between. Regardless of the setting, my passion is making strong partnerships and connections. I believe we are better together!

I have an Associates in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on intervention and programming, and am Director Qualified through the State of Colorado.

I believe that children learn through play and exploration of their environment and that teaching occurs best in an environment that supports hands-on learning experiences. Play = Learning. To me, social and emotional development is the cornerstone of the early years and the most important "work" of early childhood. I also have a passion for integrating academics into the natural environment. It is my goal to help grow confident and knowledgeable future learners of tomorrow!

I’m a parent first, just like you, and that plays a large role in the environment I create in the educational setting. My mama experience ranges from foster, adoption, and bio kiddos who currently span ages toddler to teenager. My family and I love spending our time engaged in local music, hiking, gardening, and the enjoying the many home-grown eateries our community has to offer.

I look forward to providing a safe and happy environment to foster your child's unique growth. I also look forward to partnering with you and supporting your family during my time in your child's life journey!
